- Estimated Time of Intrusion: April 18, 2026, approximately 11:41 PM (KST)
- Details: Signs of unauthorized server access due to an external intrusion (currently under investigation)
- Actions Taken: The affected server was immediately isolated and external access was blocked upon detection. The incident has been reported to relevant authorities, and an investigation is currently underway.
■ Service Availability
To strengthen security, login and certain functions are temporarily restricted.
However, cruise booking and reservation lookup services remain available.
■ Potentially Affected Information
We are currently conducting a detailed investigation with law enforcement authorities and security experts. Based on our findings so far, we cannot rule out the possibility that certain personal data may have been accessed.
- Email address
- Name, phone number, and date of birth (for some customers)
- Address (for some customers)
- Passport number (for some customers; no additional details such as expiry date were included)

■ System Security Information
- Passwords: Stored using one-way encryption (hashing), making it impossible to retrieve the original values by us or any external party
- Booking Information: Cruise booking data is managed directly by each cruise line’s system and is operated separately from our platform. Therefore, it remains secure and unaffected by this incident.
■ Customer Precautions
If you are using the same password across multiple services, we recommend changing it as a precaution.
Please remain cautious of emails, messages, or calls from unknown sources.
POLYTRIPS will not initiate contact to request your reservation number, payment, or installation of applications related to this incident. Please be cautious of impersonation attempts.
