PolyClub to Participate in ‘Icon of the Seas’ Cruise Naming Ceremony

PolyClub (CEO Jonggeol Choi), which operates the global travel platform “PolyTrips,” announced on the 15th that they will attend the naming ceremony for Royal Caribbean’s cruise ship “Icon of the Seas” on the 23rd at the Port of Miami, USA.

This event celebrates the inaugural voyage of Royal Caribbean’s “Icon of the Seas.” Royal Caribbean Cruise Line executives, partners, and other key stakeholders will be in attendance. PolyClub’s CEO Jonggeol Choi and Hong Kong representative Joan Lai will also attend as major partners.

During the event, “Icon of the Seas” will depart from the Port of Miami and travel to Royal Caribbean’s private island, “Perfect Day at CocoCay” in the Bahamas, and back.

“Icon of the Seas” is the largest cruise ship in the world, with a total weight of 250,800 tons. It is 365 meters long, has 20 decks, and 2,805 cabins. The ship features seven swimming pools, nine jacuzzis, and six water slides. It can accommodate 2,350 crew members and up to 7,600 passengers.

The company stated, “Before the cruise embarks on its maiden voyage, a naming ceremony will be held as part of a long-standing tradition. World-renowned soccer player Lionel Messi will attend the event as the ‘Icon of Icon.'”
